Legal Compliance Bulletin: November 2011

Training Provider: The Law Society
The Legal Compliance Bulletin CPD Scheme will help to consolidate your regulatory and compliance knowledge by answering questions based upon your comprehension and understanding of material published in the Law Society’s Legal Compliance Bulletin.

Six assessments will be released per year to coincide with the publication of the Bulletin. By reading the selected articles and taking the assessment you can earn 6 CPD hours per year.

The content for this Legal Compliance Bulletin assessment has been developed by Peter Camp. Peter Camp is a solicitor and the principal of his own training consultancy, Educational and Professional Services. He is also the Visiting Professor of Legal Ethics at the College of Law.

Assessment Format
Each assessment will consist of 15 questions based upon articles published in the Legal Compliance Bulletin which is worth 1 hours’ CPD. In order to claim your hour you must achieve a pass mark of 80%. Your answers will be marked online as soon as you submit them.

This assessment will automatically be added to your personal 'Record' area once your online payment is complete ready for you to access.

You can revisit the assessment as often as you like within the 90 days you have from the date of purchase. However, think carefully before submitting your answers as you only have 2 attempts to do so.

The November 2011 assessment is based upon the following articles:

• 'Outsourcing and the new regulations', Legal Compliance Bulletin, November 2011, page 4
• ‘Regulation set to strangle authorised professional firms providing financial advice', Legal Compliance Bulletin, November 2011, page 11
• ‘The new-style suitability test', Legal Compliance Bulletin, November 2011, page 14
