The long-awaited Family Procedure Rules 2010 came into force on 6 April 2011. The Rules provide a single set of rules of court for family proceedings in the High Court, county courts and magistrate’s courts.
This online training course and assessment, which has been designed to assist family practitioners who are current or prospective members of the Law Society’s Family Law Accreditation Scheme, provides:
• an understanding of the background to the FPR 2010.
• an overview of the key changes brought about by the Rules.

The content for this course has been developed by Stuart Barlow who is the Chief Assessor of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme and an associate at Nelsons Solicitors.
